Job Description Dishwasher 

• Ensure the cleanliness of all dishware. Carefully wash by hand, and safely and skillfully operate the washing equipment, to thoroughly clean all service ware, cookware and utensils, including polishing stainless and silver ware. 

• Help maintain safety in the kitchen by clearing spills promptly, keeping all kitchen equipment, oven vents, all floor, wall, and cook surfaces, thoroughly clean. Empty, wash, and return trash bins over ¾ full. Keep the wash area organized. 

• Pitch in to help with special and deep cleaning projects. 

Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience is helpful. The ability to communicate effectively in Basic English is required. The ability to operate a dishwashing machine, careful dishware handling and floor maintenance is expected. This position requires continuous standing, full mobility, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and on occasion up to 70 pounds.  
 

The Dishwasher is ultimately responsible for the cleanliness of the heart of the house as well as maintaining the equipment throughout the property. Ensure that they personally receive the appropriate and mandatory training in health and safety and required training in HACCP.  
 
The Steward will report directly to the Stewarding Supervisor/ Executive Sous Chef and be responsible for steward operations.

Descripción del trabajo Lava Platos    

• Asegure la limpieza de todos los platos. Lave cuidadosamente a mano y opere de manera segura y hábil el equipo de lavado para limpiar a fondo todos los utensilios de servicio, utensilios de cocina y utensilios, incluido el pulido de artículos de acero inoxidable y plata.

Se espera la capacidad de operar una máquina lavaplatos, el manejo cuidadoso de la vajilla y el mantenimiento del piso. Esta posición requiere estar de pie de manera continua, movilidad total, y levantar y cargar hasta 50 libras y, en ocasiones, hasta 70 libras.      

El lavaplatos es en última instancia responsable de la limpieza del corazón de la casa y del mantenimiento del equipo en toda la propiedad. Asegúrese de que reciban personalmente la capacitación adecuada y obligatoria en salud y seguridad y que requiera capacitación en HACCP.    

El Steward se reportará directamente al Supervisor Stewarding / Sous Chef Ejecutivo y será responsable de las operaciones del steward.
